We hired Chad to do a major home remodel and addition on our home. We went from a dated 1951 single level house to a modern two-story home, with all new windows, siding, and several large additions.

Chad was our main contact and a great communicator. He worked with us from the preliminary design stages and dealt with all of the estimates, vendors, contracts, permits, and payments. 

He also gave us a ton of great ideas along the way to improve parts of the home that weren't in the original plan and helped us make those adjustments without killing us on increased costs.

Years later, our home is sound, and we have not had any issues at all. We've recommended Chad to many of our friends and family and have also had him come back for additional work, including adding a pergola for the back patio area, which is awesome, along with redesigning our front porch railing and decorative posts. He even came to our house to help us with simple tasks such as installing blinds and hanging pictures.

Chad worked with us to remodel a home we had purchased prior to move-in - we were on a tight time window as we were juggling the sale of our current home as well. 

From the initial consultation, Chad's outstanding communication stuck out to us. 

As we progressed into design, Chad listened intently to our ideas for the space and initial design thoughts, but also provided excellent suggestions on what was feasible, in our budget, and realistic, which was made possible by his decades of experience. 

It was a large project that included removing numerous walls, replacing a fireplace with a new large picture window, converting the dining area into a mudroom, updating the kitchen, extending the upper loft, a full master bath redesign and remodel, as well as finishing the lower level!

As we moved into the build phase, Chad kept us in the loop on almost a daily basis and planned out a well-defined calendar that kept us on track. Since we had a relatively complex project, there were of course delays/hiccups - Chad kept us informed of those items, and over the course of a 16-week project, with numerous delays/sicknesses that were outside of anyone's control, Chad and his team finished within a week of the initial finish date.

One of Chad's superpowers is his commitment to maximizing the value his customers receive with a great level of transparency - as an example, Chad hosted an "RFP" process for all the major subcontractor work (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) and reviewed bids with us in detail, rather than just taking the first or most convenient ones he received. The delta between highest and lowest of all the subcontractors was over $10k. Even though his company would have made more money working with the most expensive contractors, this type of transparency showed his integrity, professionalism,  and commitment to his customers.

We wholeheartedly recommend Chad if you're in need of an experienced, communicative, honest builder for your project!

They say you should never do business with a friend - but I took the ‘risk’ and was not disappointed. Chad helped us with a couple of projects we were struggling to find a contractor for. We received several estimates to redo our dated wood deck but couldn’t justify the numbers we were being quoted. Chad came to look at our problem deck and gave us some good suggestions that we had not been presented with nor had we thought of on our own. 

Because of his creative suggestions and recommendations, we were able to make it work with our original budget, AND it was a much better design, making our deck more functional and had a lot of character as well. We LOVE our deck, and it really has become an extension of our home!
