Discovery Call
Initially assess and discuss your project over the phone and determine if we are a good fit for our services. (15-30 minutes)
Phase 1 design consultation
Meet at your home, get acquainted, and walk through your basement to define your goals and parameters. Discuss some design ideas to better understand your project’s feasibility, your wants versus your needs, and assess your budget in greater detail. (60-90 minutes)
Preliminary cost analysis
Provide you with a rough estimate of your project’s cost and determine if the numbers are in a price range you are comfortable with before any detailed design documents and plans are completed. (Provided via email)
Site visit and phase 2 design consultation
Meet with one of our interior designers and discuss more detailed visions for your space. This helps our team create a customized plan and incorporate design ideas for your new basement. This allows us to learn more about your lifestyle, budget, and design preferences
The designer will discuss more ideas and possibilities to assist with creating a detailed plan that includes blueprints, construction renderings, color schemes, and material selections. These documents will become the property of the client. Several design packages will be available for you to choose from at a variety of costs. (60-90 minutes)
Revised hard cost analysis and design presentation
This coincides with the previous phase. Your design team will visit your home once again to meet with you and present you with an updated estimate based on the plans and design concepts Beautiful Basements Minnesota has customized for you! At this time, any changes will be discussed and modified as necessary. (60-90 minutes)
Detailed proposal and project agreement
Beautiful Basements Minnesota will provide you with a detailed construction proposal and comprehensive document outlining the scope of your basement project, including the plans, specific details, allowances, estimated timelines, payment schedules, and legal terms.
Upon acceptance, both parties will sign the documents, and this will become a legal binding contract ensuring all parties understand their obligations and responsibilities throughout the construction process. (Provided via email)
